Speleological excursions
The
Kras near Trieste has thousands of natural cavities and grottos. A
must see is the Grotta
Gigante
(Giant Grotto), the biggest cavity in the world. A few kilometres
from there, in Slovenia, there are the famous Grottos
of Postumia
and S. Canziano.
