The Camping Village Mare Pineta Baia Sistiana is on the homonym bay, situated a few chilometres from Trieste, a city famous for its history and works of art. The village is located in a unique geographic situation because, in its position over the bay, offers a magnificent view of the clean and blue Adriatic sea.
The beach is 500 mt from the camping and it can be reached with a free touristic train offered by the camping itself. In the immediate vicinity there's the panoramic Rilke promenade. The path overlooks the sea and offers and amazing view of the bay: the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke found a lot of inspiration walking this path, during his stay in the nearby castle of Duino. By visiting this same castle one can really experience a fairy tale-like atmosphere that evocates ancient stories and legends. There's nothing better for a holiday that has beach, relax, culture and nature all together!
