Thematic viewpoint “Providenca”

The thematic viewpoint “Providenca” includes the 300-m-long Apsyrtides nature trail and the viewpoint bar with a rich offering of local delicacies.
Named after the name the ancient Greeks gave to the archipelago of Cres and Lošinj, the Apsyrtides educational trail reveals to every visitor the true soul of that pile of islands that can be admired from the lookout. With the help of 28 interpretive signs accompanied by photographs and text, the trail shows each island of the archipelago for what it actually is, which is a unique and unrepeatable world of its own.
The belvedere bar offers truly unique sensations right from its furnishings: 18 wooden tables and benches, all strictly handmade, each bear the name of one of Lošinj’s ships that were launched from the island’s celebrated shipyards in the 19th century.
The thematic viewpoint “Providenca” is the best place from which to appreciate the beauty of these islands and enjoy the magical moment when “the sun dips into the sea.”
