The climate in Puglia

The climate is mainly Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters. The temperature in the summer ranges from 25 to 30 degrees, with peaks of 40 degrees on the hottest days. The highest temperatures occur on the Ionian side, remaining above 30/35 degrees for long periods.
