Climate in Rome

The climate of Rome is considered temperate with hot summers and a generally balanced distribution of cold and warm months. On the coast, because of the influence of the sea, there are no temperature gaps between autumn and winter and this gives the tourists mild days even in the coldest months. Light changes can be noticed into the city where the hottest summers can induce visitors to enter into the museums to find relief and admire the masterpieces inside. Rains are not generally frequent and they are concentrated in November, December and beginning of Spring.

The Rome International Film Festival which is held in Autumn together with the countless shows in the main theatres of the city, the famous Italian and foreign singer concerts and the exhibitions of various arts complete the art scene of the capital.
