Tiber River Cycling Route
It is possible to enjoy the most unusual and beautiful views of Rome in peace thanks to the bike path along the Tiber. The track runs a good 35 km and cuts through Rome from north to south: in fact, it begins in Labaro, far north of the city, and ends in Tor di Vale, in the southwest part of the city. Pedaling at an almost zero gradient, which makes the route suitable for everyone, you will pedal between the riverbanks and embankments, both encountering the beautiful nature of the river and having a privileged look at the wonders of downtown Rome.
The route, which is advisable to do in summer to avoid flooding of the river, has the following access points: Piazzale Maresciallo Giardino, Lungotevere Oberdan, Ponte Matteotti, Calata degli Anguillara (cordonata), Ponte Sublicio (Ripa Grande), Ponte Testaccio, Lungotevere Pietra Papa, Via della Magliana, Ponte della Magliana, Via del Cappellaccio, Tor di Valle.
