Beach vacations in Sardinia
From Camping Village Laguna Blu in Alghero, the city of Alghero can be reached in a very short time. Since the 1960s, Alghero has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sardinia, thanks in part to the presence of monuments and places of historical and artistic interest.
The city, also called “Little Barcelona,” still maintains a strong Catalan identity. As you stroll through the historic center, you can feel the special charm of Alghero, through the characteristic narrow streets overlooked by Catalan, Baroque, and Rococo-style buildings.
MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION
The bus service, Alghero Beach Bus, will take you to discover the historic center of Alghero and its surroundings. The service runs from May to October and you can leave directly from Camping Village Laguna Blu, thanks to stop number 20.
In addition to the private beach bus service, there is the A.L.F.A. public bus that connects the Campsite both to the town of Alghero and to the airport and the beaches of Maria Pia and Lido di Alghero on an hourly basis all year round (05.00 to 23.00); you can find tickets for sale at the reception of the facility.
