How does it work?

The installments

At the time of purchase, your card will be charged for the first installment.
The next 2 installments will be charged to you on a monthly basis

A Simple Service

The service is simple to activate and accepts all major credit, debit or prepaid cards.
Only the first installment will be charged at the time of purchase

Payments

You will receive a message (via SMS or email) a few days before the deadline from Scalapay
That will remind you of the payment. In case of refund and/or cancellation
The conditions signed at the time of purchase shall apply

FAQ

Do I have to have specific requirements to use the service?

  • No, you only need to be of legal age and in possession of a credit, debit or prepaid card. Scalapay accepts all major credit, debit and prepaid cards from the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS circuits.

What happens if the installment payment fails?

If the automatic installment payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment directly from your Scalapay account

How much is the maximum amount per transaction?

You can use Scalapay up to a maximum of €3,000 per transaction.

What happens if I fail to pay an installment?

Scalapay will charge late payment fees as explained below:

  • Payment made by the due date = no additional charge!
  • Payment made more than 1 day late = up to €6 additional cost
  • Payment made more than 1 week late = additional 6 euros (in addition to the first fee, up to a maximum of 12 euros per payment).

The total cost of fees may not exceed 15% of the loan value (second and third installments).

Need to know

  1. Our systems evaluate each order individually at the time of purchase and not all orders are approved. Whenever possible, we will notify you of the reason for rejection but often for security reasons we are unable to provide a detailed explanation.
  2. Approval does not depend on availability on your card.
