The Liscia River and its lake

From the barrage of the Liscia River rises the lake of the same name, which can be reached by car, motorcycle or the Green Train of Sardinia, offering us a beautiful panorama with mountains that create distinctive silhouettes and lush vegetation. One can even admire thousand-year-old olive trees, among the oldest in Europe, on its banks. The role of this watercourse has a long history and is a testament to how fundamental nature is to human life and survival.
